Academy students medal at southend open.

This weekend saw 6 of our jiu-jitsu family enter the Southend Open.

Out of the 6 entrants 4 of them won a medal.

Overseen by one of our academy  Black Belts ” James Gregory” the team did very well.

Also competing in the purple belt division was Zayed, a visually impaired student who is registered ( Blind ).

After beating all of his opponents Zayed won the gold medal. I am extremely proud of all who participated and once again this shows Jiu-Jitsu has NO Limitations.

Also well done to the organisers of the Southend open and all of the staff from what i heard was an awesome event, And our team members who travelled to support the athletes.

John Mohamed – white belt Bronze medal

Rizwan- Blue Belt Silver medal

Fahad – Purple Belt  Bronze  Medal

Zayed – Purple Belt Gold Medal
