UFC Fighters Learning Gracie Jiu-Jitsu with Eddie Kone

The Eddie Kone Academy of Jiu-Jitsu is fast becoming a hub For Elite Athletes who are at the pinnacle of there sport.
It’s not unusual to find such Athletes training at the academy like
Vaughan Lee , Nick Oszipcheck , Luckasz Growchowski plus more. Along with others being coached by professor Eddie Kone at there own respected gyms, Dan Hardy, Ross Pearson, Mike Wilkinson, Dean Amasinger the list goes on, so what is it that brings theses elite athletes to the Academy.
We believe it is the no nonsense approach to training, the mindset and the strategies taught at our school, if you think back to the early UFC when Royce Gracie was dominating we never saw him just grapple, we saw him use Elbows Knees, punches head buts and kicks this was a complete and comprehensive system of martial arts namely (Gracie Jiu-Jitsu).
Like all Brazilian jiu-jitsu schools we train in kimonos (Gi) but we are not reliant on grips or grabbing we also consider what we teach to be the complete Jiu-jitsu system and teach it as a Martial Art not a sport.
Jiu-jitsu Definition: An art of weaponless fighting employing holds, throws, and paralyzing blows to subdue or disable an opponent.
We emphasise the connection between the technical, physical and philosophical aspects which we believe assist the athlete in his/her journey After all we believe ( Gracie Jiu-Jitsu) to be the original MMA.
